Baby Swimming Lessons in Prestons: Building Water Confidence From the Very Start

Every strong swimmer starts somewhere, and at Swim 2 Me, that journey often begins with baby swimming lessons in Prestons. Our early programs focus on water familiarisation, safety and comfort, gently introducing babies and young children to the water in a warm, supportive environment before progressing them through stroke correction and squad level training. It’s a natural first step toward the more advanced Pre Squad, Beginner and Advanced Stroke Correction, and Squad Preparation classes that follow.

Choosing baby swimming classes in Prestons early sets the foundation for everything that comes next, confidence, coordination and a genuine love of the water. As your child grows and their ability develops, our instructors guide them step by step from those first splashes right through to squad level swimming, tracking progress carefully along the way to make sure every stage is mastered before moving on.

Below, we provide you with everything that’s included in the mini squad program.

Beginner Stroke Correction

In the beginner stroke correction class in Hoxton Park, NSW, our expert instructors will correct your child’s stroke while swimming. This is a session aimed at students who can swim 10 metres in both backstroke and freestyle. Here, the instructors will introduce and demonstrate the proper techniques of butterfly, breaststroke and diving to help them increase their stamina. Thus, with accurate strokes, they will always be safe in the water and can swim faster. Besides, by practising the strokes accurately, your child can avoid injuries while swimming.

Our instructors will teach the techniques safely and supervise the entire swimming session to make sure that your child can keep herself afloat at all times.

Besides, in this class, they will teach your child how to swim quickly from one point to another using the strokes mentioned.

Our instructors will help correct the strokes step by step and will alert your child whenever he or she makes a mistake.

Squad Preparation Class

In addition to these, we also provide squad preparation classes where we teach children ways to build stamina and execute each stroke with precision. This will help your child become more flexible while swimming. Moreover, they will learn to perform the stroke with finesse while avoiding injuries.
On completion of this course, your child will have developed the endurance and skills to take part in squad-level swimming. Also, similar to that of the stroke correction class, our supervisors will make sure that your child is practising what has been taught in the lessons.
